SkyWorld Development Berhad has opened its first sales gallery in Penang, marking the property developer’s entry into the northern region.

The SkyWorld Gallery at Seberang Jaya houses the area’s first Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) Experience Centre and Quality Centre. The opening represents a major step in the company’s expansion into Northern Malaysia.

Members of the Penang media attended the gallery opening on 28 January 2026. They toured the PPVC Experience Centre and Satellite Quality Centre and viewed the SkyWorld Pearlmont show unit.

Lee Chee Seng, Chief Executive Officer of SkyWorld, said: “The opening of SkyWorld Gallery @ Seberang Jaya marks an important milestone in our expansion into Northern Malaysia. By bringing our PPVC Experience Centre and Satellite Quality Centre to Penang, we aim to elevate how homebuyers experience quality and innovation in a SkyWorld home.”

The gallery serves as more than a sales space. SkyWorld has designed it as an engagement and learning hub where visitors can understand the company’s construction methods.

The PPVC Experience Centre demonstrates the complete PPVC process. Building modules are fully finished in a controlled factory environment before being transported and assembled on-site. This construction approach delivers better precision and consistency compared to traditional methods.

The method also shortens construction timelines and creates a more sustainable building process. It reduces waste and minimises disruption at construction sites.

The Satellite Quality Centre shows the company’s quality management framework. It features a detailed Inspection & Test Plan that covers civil and structural works, architectural finishes and other key components. The centre reflects SkyWorld’s approach that quality control happens throughout the construction process, not just at the end.

SkyWorld Pearlmont, a freehold 34-acre affordable housing development in Seberang Jaya, anchors the company’s Penang operations. The project is being developed under the Rumah Bakat MADANI scheme.

More than 80% of the 1,166 units in Phase 1A have been taken up. The strong response shows market confidence in PPVC technology and SkyWorld’s building methods.

The development is Malaysia’s first large-scale residential project constructed using PPVC technology. It also introduces the country’s first vertical school, bringing education facilities within a residential community.

The project sits in the established neighbourhood of Seberang Jaya. SkyWorld commits to a minimum 85% QLASSIC score, which exceeds the national average under CIDB Malaysia’s workmanship quality assessment system.

Buyers receive a 10-year leak-proof warranty. The development guarantees a low maintenance fee of RM0.18 per square foot for 10 years.

Residents get exclusive access to Penang’s largest elevated SkyPark, spanning 10 acres. The development features a pay-per-use clubhouse concept, which gives residents flexibility in how they use communal facilities.

Integrated retail spaces sit within the community-centric masterplan. Smart living features powered by SkyWorld Connects 2.0 are built into the homes.

SkyWorld Development Berhad focuses on developing high-rise residential, commercial and affordable properties. The company operates in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

The developer has won multiple awards, including two Gold awards at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards. It has received The Edge Malaysia Affordable Urban Housing Excellence Award three times and the Kincentric Best Employer in Malaysia award five times.

The sales gallery is located at T/S Sales Gallery, JL F/P N, Jalan Tenggiri, 13700 Seberang Jaya, Penang. Directions are available on Waze by searching “SkyWorld Gallery @ Seberang Jaya”.
