Café 168 at G Hotel Gurney has launched a new weekend dinner for seafood lovers. Shuck & Catch is the latest edition of the café’s signature Let’s Meat & Sea Buffet Dinner. It runs every Friday and Saturday, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, on Level 3.
Fresh Japanese Harima oysters lead the spread, followed by seafood-on-ice counter with crabs, the Catch of the Day and other seafood favourites. Freshly prepared dishes sit alongside them, so diners can move between cold and cooked seafood through the evening. With a 3.5-hour window, guests can pace themselves instead of rushing through one round.
The buffet does not stop at the ocean’s bounty. Diners can also choose from hot dishes, crowd-favourite noodles and comforting selections. This gives guests who do not eat shellfish a full plate of their own, which matters at a table where tastes differ. The evening ends on a sweet note with a spread of desserts.
The hotel designed Shuck & Catch for family gatherings and groups of seafood lovers. The idea is simple: arrive hungry, fill your plate and go back for more. A weekend dinner with several generations at one table fits that brief well.
Two offers apply to the adult price.
The first is Buy 3 Free 1. Four adults pay RM564 in total, which works out to RM141 each. At the standard rate, four adults would pay RM752, so the free place saves RM188. The offer applies to the adult price only, so it suits groups of four or more adults.
The second is for G Hive members. Diners who download the G Hive app and sign up as members receive 25% off the adult price. That also comes to RM141 per adult, a saving of RM47 on each ticket. This route suits smaller groups, such as couples or a table of two or three adults.
Both offers land on the same price per adult, so the choice comes down to group size. A table of four adults can use either. A couple or a trio can use the membership discount.
