GEORGE TOWN: Audio and visual enthusiasts in the region are in for a treat as Penang gears up to host the 2nd Northern International Audio & Visual Show from the 26th to 28th April 2024. Organized by Gryphon Production and supported by the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), this premier event promises to be a showcase of the latest advancements in the high-end audio-visual industry.
The Northern International Audio & Visual Show has established itself as the leading platform in the region for exhibitors and attendees to experience groundbreaking technologies. This year’s edition, set to take place at the prestigious Amari SPICE Penang, will feature over 40 unique exhibits from a diverse range of countries like Singapore, Lithuania, Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, Denmark, Australia, USA, and local exhibitors.
“The idea was to make the event more interesting and engaging,” said Ashwin Gunasekaran, CEO of PCEB. “We have workshops, sharing sessions, and to engage the younger, upcoming generation in this particular hobby.”
Alongside the impressive exhibit lineup, the event will also offer a wealth of immersive experiences and engaging workshops. Attendees can look forward to insightful talks by renowned industry experts, providing valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations. Additionally, hands-on workshops will allow enthusiasts to delve deeper into the technical aspects of audio-visual technology.
Adding to the excitement, the 2nd Northern International Audio & Visual Show will also feature a free 3-day music concert series from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at the SPICE Rooftop Garden. Renowned artists such as Yogi B, Yonnyboii, Saiko-Rama, Roger Wang, Megan, Arunboii & Havoc Brothers, Warnabumi, Gareth MC Show, Penang Jazz Society, The Big Band, Somebody Who, KipDaGruv, JazzieJay, The Harmonious, Northern Anthem, Arvind Raj & Amos Paul will take the stage, creating an unforgettable musical experience for attendees.
“The show is something that I wanted to put together because I love music,” commented Wilson Teoh, the organiser from Gryphon Production. “Being in the concert industry for the last 25 years, we realise that times are changing, and we need to take things to a new level.”
