SkyWorld Development Berhad opened its second sales gallery in Penang on 24 October, taking two units at Vervea in Bandar Cassia, Batu Kawan. The group said the new outlet strengthens its presence in the state and backs its plan to deliver homes across the northern region.
The soft opening was officiated by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, alongside SkyWorld management, media and invited guests. It follows the group’s first Penang sales gallery in Seberang Jaya, which opened earlier this year.
Lee Chee Seng, chief executive officer of SkyWorld, said, “Following the opening of our first sales gallery in Seberang Jaya, we are pleased to mark another important milestone with the opening of SkyWorld Gallery @ Bandar Cassia. As we continue to expand our presence in Penang, we remain committed to delivering quality homes through innovation, including the adoption of PPVC technology to enhance construction precision, quality and efficiency.”
The Batu Kawan development will use Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction, a method where building modules are manufactured in a controlled factory environment before being transported to site and assembled. SkyWorld said the approach can lift construction precision and consistency, which in turn raises workmanship quality and shortens build time.
SkyWorld said the gallery carries its brand purpose, “Make Living Better”, to more communities through homes designed around quality and daily living. The group describes itself as an urban developer with a record in high-rise residential, commercial and affordable housing, holding ongoing and planned projects in FT Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
Its award list includes two gold wins at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards, three wins at The Edge Malaysia Affordable Urban Housing Excellence Award and five Kincentric Best Employer in Malaysia titles. The group also frames its brand promise, that buyers can now own a quality home and living, as a long-term commitment to excellence for future generations.
The opening ran alongside the 2026 SkyWorld Guang Ming Education Awards, which the group supports as part of its work with local communities.
SkyWorld Gallery @ Bandar Cassia sits at Units 29 and 31, Vervea, Jalan Vervea 1, Bandar Cassia, 14110 Simpang Ampat, Penang. Drivers can search “SkyWorld Gallery @ Bandar Cassia” on Waze.
