With an impressive career spanning over 15 years in the hospitality industry, Bernard brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to these esteemed establishments.
Throughout his illustrious journey, Bernard has honed his expertise at renowned establishments, earning a reputation for exceptional leadership and unparalleled creativity. His passion for the craft of Food and Beverage was ignited by the iconic movie “Cocktail,” serving as a profound inspiration that fueled his fervor. Since then, Bernard has continuously pushed the boundaries of gastronomic artistry, crafting extraordinary experiences for discerning guests.

Originally from Edinburg, Scotland, Bernard is a highly motivated leader driven to consistently surpass the company’s expectations. He is deeply committed to achieving excellence and creating lifelong guests. Always encouraging his team to “think outside the box,” Bernard tirelessly seeks to improve not only profitability but also the productivity and efficiency of his operations. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Bernard began his journey in the Food & Beverage space before progressing to his first role as the acting general manager of Novotel Danang Premier Han, Vietnam from 2020 to 2022. During the challenging period of the Covid pandemic, Bernard successfully managed Novotel Danang Hotel, implementing numerous preventive measures that went above and beyond regulations to safeguard the well-being of guests and team members. He has predominantly worked with the Sofitel brand, gaining invaluable experience in Macau, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Most recently, he served as the Executive Assistant Manager of Intercontinental Mauritius Resort.
In his new role as Director of Food and Beverage, Bernard will oversee all food and beverage operations, placing a strong emphasis on innovation, creativity, and the delivery of extraordinary culinary experiences for guests. His arrival is perfectly timed to introduce exciting concepts at Tree Bar and enhance the menus at Café 168, located in G Hotel Gurney.

Additionally, he finds joy in watching football and engaging in dart games, showcasing his competitive nature and love for sports. Furthermore, Bernard possesses a strong sense of adventure and relishes the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world, immersing himself in diverse cultures and cuisines.
