G Hotel celebrated its annual Staff Party 2026 on Tuesday, 22 September, bringing the world together under one roof with the theme “Travel Around the World in One Night!”. Held at the Grand Ballroom of G Hotel Gurney, the celebration brought together associates from G Hotel Gurney and G Hotel Kelawai for an evening of appreciation, recognition and entertainment.
Inspired by destinations and cultures from around the globe, associates arrived in colourful outfits representing different countries and cultures, filling the ballroom with a colourful display of diversity and unity.
The evening kicked off with a special opening performance by the Heads of Departments, followed by an address by General Manager Michael Hanratty. “Tonight is a celebration of every associate at G Hotel. Your hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the year have made our achievements and recognitions possible,” said Mr Hanratty. “Just as our theme takes us around the world in one night, the different talents, roles and personalities across our team are what make G Hotel what it is today.”
Associates enjoyed an international feast featuring Nasi Briyani Kashmir, Spaghetti Napolitana with Chicken, Roasted Grilled Chicken, Butter Prawn and Thai Red Curry Red Snapper. The hotel’s owners and Heads of Departments joined in serving the meal, while live action stations and a performance by Jay added to the evening’s festivities.
A meaningful part of the evening was the Long Service Awards, recognising associates who reached milestones ranging from 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service for their loyalty, dedication and contributions to G Hotel.
The celebration continued with five performances by associates from various departments: Global Hospitality Heroes from Housekeeping, Last Minute Legend from Front Office, Groove Squad representing Culinary, Food & Beverage and Sales, G Airline from Reservation, and Rock & Soul, a solo performance from Culinary.
The evening also featured the Best Dress Competition, Best Performance Awards, Foreign Talent & Trainee of the Year 2025 and Associate of the Year 2025, recognising the creativity, talent and dedication of G Hotel associates.
Games and multiple rounds of lucky draws kept the excitement going before the evening culminated with the Final Lucky Draw. The celebration concluded with the introduction of the Staff Party Committee 2026, followed by a lively DJ rave session.
More than an annual celebration, “Travel Around the World in One Night!” reflected the diversity, unity and camaraderie of the G Hotel family while celebrating the people and collective efforts behind the hotel’s continued success.
