North-South Expressway customers will be able to enjoy more toll payment options once the RFID toll payment technology kicks off on the NSE JuruSkudai stretch beginning 10pm this 15th January 2022. The launch will see all 83 toll plazas on the NSE will be equipped with at least 1 RFID lane for highway customers to pay toll. The move will offer highway customers more options to complete their toll transactions in addition to the existing Touch ‘n Go card and SmartTAG platforms.

“Beginning 10pm this 15th January, highway customers who had already migrated to the Touch ‘n Go RFID platform to pay toll on other highways can now use the new toll payment technology on the entire stretch of the NSE. The launch on 15th January will enable more Private Passenger Car (Class 1) customers to subscribe to the new mode of toll payment and enjoy seamless and contactless transactions via an e-Wallet,” explained Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi, Chief Operating Officer of PLUS.

There are currently more than 1.5 million highway customers who have already migrated to the Touch ‘n Go RFID platform to pay toll, mostly in the Klang Valley.

Touch ‘n Go RFID sticker tags are sold at RM35 each at designated RFID fitment centres across the country (please refer to Touch ‘n Go portal, https://rfidregister.touchngo.com.my/fitment-centres for the list of fitment centres) as well as online purchase.
