GEORGE TOWN: The 2nd Northern International Audio & Visual Show, held from April 26th to 28th at the Amari SPICE Penang, has concluded on a high note after kicking off with great anticipation, officiated by Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow. The three-day extravaganza left attendees in awe of the cutting-edge audio-visual technology showcased.
Organized by Gryphon Production and supported by the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), the event lived up to its reputation as the premier platform for audio-visual enthusiasts and industry professionals in the region.
With over 40 unique exhibits from international and local exhibitors, attendees were treated to an immersive experience that pushed the boundaries of audio-visual technology. From state-of-the-art sound systems to cutting-edge visual displays, the exhibits left a lasting impression on visitors.
One of the highlights was the insightful talks delivered by renowned industry experts, providing valuable insights into future trends and advancements in the audio-visual realm. The hands-on workshops were also well-received, allowing enthusiasts to deepen their knowledge and skills.
Complementing the exhibits and workshops was the free 3-day music concert series at the SPICE Rooftop Garden, which featured electrifying performances by acclaimed artists such as Yogi B, Yonnyboii, Saiko-Rama, and many more. The fusion of audio-visual excellence and live music created an unforgettable sensory experience for attendees.
On the last day, the show received a special visit from YB Wong Hon Wai, who was interviewed by international YouTubers Jiles McCoy, Lachlan Fennen and Randall Messman, further amplifying the event’s global reach.

As the curtains close on the 2nd Northern International Audio & Visual Show, Penang has once again proven its ability to host world-class events, leaving a lasting impact on the audio-visual industry, garnering international attention, and setting the stage for the next iteration of this highly anticipated showcase planned to be held at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre, which is scheduled to be completed in mid-2025.
