Amari SPICE Penang, the leading contemporary business hotel in Penang, has been crowned The Best Business Event Hotel at the inaugural Tourism Industry Award 2024.
The prestigious award ceremony, a tribute to outstanding individuals and organisations within the Malaysian Tourism and Hospitality Industry, celebrated achievements across 80 categories. The event was spearheaded by the Malaysia International Tourism Development Association (MITDA) in collaboration with the Malaysia Fashion Modelling Pageant Association (MFMPA) and Santai Travel.
This latest accolade reinforces Amari SPICE Penang’s reputation as the premier destination for business, leisure, meetings, and events not just in Penang but across the nation.
Amari SPICE Penang opened its doors on 9 September 2022 in Bayan Lepas, Penang’s central business district. The hotel is led by General Manager Noorazzudin Omar, a well-respected hospitality personality in Malaysia with 30 years of experience in the industry. Mr Noorazzudin’s visionary leadership has been instrumental in the hotel’s rapid success, with the property achieving 5-Star category status within a year of its debut.
