Mercedes-Benz Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Network Across Malaysia

Featured

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched a strategic nationwide collaboration with luxury hotels to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The partnership includes prestigious establishments such as Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang and Marriott Hotel in Penang, The RuMa Hotel & Residences and Saujana Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, and Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas in Johor.

The initiative forms part of the company’s broader electrification strategy, which aims to develop a comprehensive EV ecosystem. This includes three key charging initiatives: Charge@Home for private residences, Charge@Retail for retail locations, and Charge@Public at partner luxury venues.

By collaborating with Charge Point Operators like EV Connection, ChargeEV, and Gentari, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is working to create a seamless nationwide charging network. The strategy supports Malaysia’s transition towards sustainable mobility while offering exclusive privileges to customers.

The partnership represents a significant step in redefining luxury vehicle ownership and enhancing customer engagement in the electric vehicle market.
