Today marks the official opening of The Penang Teachers’ Art Circle 58th Anniversary Exhibition at Penang State Art Gallery, Level 3 of Dewan Sri Pinang. The exhibition runs daily 9am to 5pm (except Fridays & public holidays) from 27th August 2022 until 11th September 2022.
The guest of honour, Mr Lee Khai, president of Penang State Art Gallery was there to give a motivating speech and officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Also present was Ms Teoh Soo Khim, Chairperson of The Penang Teachers’ Art Circle, Advisors Mr Koay Soo Kau, Mr Lee Kok Liang and Mr Peter Ho Cheng Woh.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, souvenirs were gifted to the VIPs to honour their presence and also their contribution.
The exhibition portrays a plethora of artworks using various medias from 50 artists. They got together for a group photo with the board.
The guests mingled about admiring the artworks on display and took photos with artists at their respective pieces.
