Motorists in Penang can pick up desirable vehicle registration numbers at heavily discounted rates this weekend, with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) holding a physical warehouse sale of leftover auction inventory.
The Karnival Mega JPJ Madani 2026 takes place at Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang in Batu Kawan on Sunday 26 April 2026, offering 50,000 unsold number plates at fixed prices starting from just RM250 – a 50% discount from standard auction rates.
Available sequences include popular “cantik” numbers such as 8080, 4444, 444, 121 and 323, all previously unsold from past eBid auctions. The RM250 starting price includes a RM10 service fee.
Buyers must be physically present at the stadium on Sunday only – the sale is offline exclusively and not available through MySikap or eBid platforms. Visits on Friday or Saturday will not yield any plate purchases.
The carnival also features concurrent giveaways including 5,000 free helmets and 1,500 complimentary oil changes at the same Batu Kawan Stadium venue.
