KL Metro Group has officially broken ground on its latest project, Lexis Hibiscus 2, in Port Dickson. The ceremony, held on 29 July 2024, marks the beginning of construction for this ambitious luxury resort development.

Located adjacent to the original Lexis Hibiscus, the new resort will span 80 acres and feature 1,710 units, including 910 water homes and 800 sky pool suites in two high-rise blocks. The design will form the shape of Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus.
With a Gross Development Value of RM1.6 billion, Lexis Hibiscus 2 is set to outshine its predecessor in scale and luxury. Each unit will have a private pool, offering guests unparalleled tropical tranquility.
The project is a joint venture between KL Metro Group and Menteri Besar Incorporated, the investment arm of the Negeri Sembilan State Government. It is scheduled for completion by mid-2029.
YAB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Aminuddin, Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, officiated the groundbreaking ceremony. Other notable attendees included Dato’ Haji Mat Hassan Esa, Chairman of Kuala Lumpur Metro Group, and Dato’ Low Tak Fatt, Managing Director of Kuala Lumpur Metro Group.
The resort is expected to attract 1.1 million tourists annually and create 5,000 jobs during its development, construction, and operational phases.
Units at Lexis Hibiscus 2 are available for sale under a leaseback arrangement, offering buyers a 6% annual rental return and 10 complimentary nights per year. Prices range from RM720,000 to RM950,000.
