G Hotel Gurney has been named Best Business and Leisure Hotel at the Tourism Industry Awards 2026, held on 8 August at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel, Selangor. The consecutive win marks the second time the Penang property has taken the top honour in the same category.
The award, organised by the Malaysia Tourism Industry Development Association (MiTDA), recognises organisations that have demonstrated excellence in service and major contributions to Malaysia’s tourism industry. Recipients are also named Ambassadors of Malaysia Tourism, representing the nation’s commitment to hospitality excellence.
