This brings the total number of contingents and secretariats involved this year to 10,072,” said Law in a statement. The celebration will run from 7.30 am to 11.30 am and will include a patriotic song choir performance by Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan (SMJK) Jit Sin, cultural dance performances, a Gendang Muhibah performance, a guard of honour from the Royal Malay Regiment, and displays of vehicle assets from various departments.

There will also be exhibitions of assets and heavy machinery from the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), and the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), which are expected to attract attendees from all segments of society.

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni”, reflecting the government’s commitment to strengthening national development with a focus on human values, social well-being, and justice. Dignitaries expected to attend include the Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Ramli Ngah Talib and his wife Toh Puan Raja Noora Ashikin Raja Abdullah, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow and his wife, along with state leadership, heads of state and federal departments, and other state dignitaries.
