Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang hosted the Christmas Garden Market 2025 on 20 December, a fundraising event organised by FS Performance Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The event raised funds for Penang Shine Like Stars Association and Camp Skills4Life.
The afternoon gathering brought families and community partners to the resort’s gardens. Guests browsed stalls at the Christmas market while watching Zumba and Konga performances. Live singing performances and art displays showcased work by participants from both beneficiary organisations.
YB Syerleena, Member of Parliament, attended the event to show support for the cause. A festive raffle draw ran throughout the afternoon, with local businesses sponsoring prizes for attendees.
The resort partnered with three organisations to make the event possible. Lemme Learn, TNI Global, and the Filipino Club Penang worked alongside the hotel team to coordinate activities and vendor participation.
Penang Shine Like Stars Association supports individuals with special needs in the community. Camp Skills4Life runs skills training programmes for young people. Both organisations used the market as a platform for beneficiaries to display their talents through performances and creative works.
Families spent the afternoon exploring vendor booths, participating in activities, and supporting the fundraising efforts. The event combined entertainment with community fundraising, creating opportunities for visitors to contribute while enjoying festive activities.
