Hard Rock Hotel Penang has launched The Mooncake Lounge to celebrate this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival. The hotel’s signature offering is The Broadcast Box, a limited-edition keepsake inspired by vintage radios.
Only 500 sets are available at RM338 nett per box, excluding delivery. The collectible box combines retro design with modern craftsmanship.
Each Broadcast Box contains six halal-certified mooncake flavours with reduced sweetness. The varieties include White Lotus, Pandan Lotus, Green Tea Lotus, Himalayan Pink Salt Rich Chocolate, Osmanthus Oolong Tea, and Thai Milk Tea Lotus.
The box features four decorative buttons displaying Hard Rock’s brand mottos: Love All – Serve All, Take Time to Be Kind, All is One, and Save the Planet.
“The Mid-Autumn Festival has always been about bringing people together,” said Michael Smeeton, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Penang. “With The Broadcast Box, we wanted to celebrate the tradition with a Hard Rock spin. Something fun, nostalgic and unique that guests could enjoy and remember long after the season’s over.”
Each set includes a serialised lucky draw ticket. Winners will be announced on Hard Rock Hotel Penang’s social media channels at the end of October 2025. Prizes include a two-day, one-night stay in the King Suite with Rock Royalty Lounge access and multiple Seaview Deluxe Room getaways.
