Eastin Hotel Penang has continued its tradition of community engagement by distributing 250 containers of signature Bubur Lambuk Ayam at Masjid Jamek Batu Uban on 6th March 2025.
The initiative, part of the hotel’s Ramadan activities, saw the Hotel Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, and hotel staff personally handing out the traditional porridge to mosque attendees.
Miss Choo Chan Chan, Director of Sales & Marketing, described the event as “more than just a meal distribution” but a reflection of the hotel’s commitment to fostering community connections during the sacred month.
The hotel’s culinary team prepared the Bubur Lambuk, a dish deeply rooted in Ramadan traditions that symbolises unity and sharing. The porridge was prepared using quality ingredients and distributed to the mosque congregation.
Community members reportedly received the initiative warmly, with the hotel noting the activity strengthened community ties and embodied the spirit of Ramadan.
