It was a pleasant sunny day under the shades of a large tree by the beach where representatives from Sakura Color Malaysia came to meet 4 prominent & talented artists in Penang. Their manager Jass Choo along with regional sales executives Ivy Lee & Steven Koek came over to meet the artists in person as they had previously worked online due to lockdown.

Sakura Color Malaysia had always maintained a close relationship with artists and this meeting was well planned at the idyllic fringes of Beach Blanket Babylon at 32 Mansion facing the sea.

Among the artists present were Koay Sheng Tat, Ooi Viv, Willy Loh & Ginny Gooi. They caught up with each other, discussed the local art scene and also several planned events over lunch.


Koay Sheng Tat is a watercolor & mural artist with extensive skills and had done several solo exhibitions in the past. His exquisite paintings are well sought after by art galleries & collectors from all over.
Willy Loh is a multi talented, multi media artist with his hands in mural painting, sculptures, portraits, theming, dioramas, abstract & many more. He brings with him over 30 plus years of industry experience.

Ooi Viv is an advanced instructor in pastel & also an upcoming oil painter. She regularly conducts team building events and can be often seen at the streets of George Town with her impressionist oil paintings.
Ginny Gooi is an impressive charcoal sketch artist & oil painter with a forte in portraits. Her alluring & ultra-realistic charcoal sketch portraits are highly prized by the plethora of clients all over the nation.
